Otizm ve Eğitim Sanat Mekan Autism Education Art Space

Yaklasık 75 yıl önce, Amerika Birlesik Devletleri'nde Mississippi Eyaletinde yasayan Donald Triplett, otizm tanısını alan ilk çocuk olmustur. Yalnız bu durum, otizm daha önceleri yoktu anlamına gelmiyor. Otizm tanısının kesfi dünyada da yenidir ve bu alanda gerekli olan arastırmaların yapılması bu nedenle önem tasımaktadır. Otizm Spektrum Bozuklugu tanısı konmus olan çocukların sayısı Türkiye'de ve dünyada giderek artıs göstermektedir. Otizm, engelli olmaktan çok farklı bir durum olup kisiden kisiye degismektedir. Bu kitapta, Türkiye'den Otizm Spektrum Bozuklugu tanılı bir gencin egitimdeki, ayrıca sanatsal ve sosyal alanlardaki kisisel öyküsü ile Norveçli bir gencin sanat alanındaki kisisel öyküsü anlatılmaktadır. Ayrıca kitapta, bu alanda çalısmalar yapmıs olan ilgili uzmanların yön gösterici yazılarına da yer verilmis bulunmaktadır. Çünkü otizm, çok yönlü olarak ele alınması gereken bir sorundur. Baslıca amaç, ailelere ve ilgilenenlere bu konuda destek olmaktır. Birlesmis Milletlerin 2030 yılına kadar gerçeklestirilmesi için ortaya koydugu Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri arasında bu konuya iliskin olarak yer alan kuralların Türkiye'de de dikkatle izlenmesi ve uygulamaya konması zorunludur. Nearly 75 years ago, a boy named Donald Triplett, who were living in Mississippi, United States, had been diagnosed with autism for the first time. But this does not mean that autism was non existent before then. The discovery of the autism diagnosis is still new therefore it carries a great importance to apply necessary research within this field. The number of children that had been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder is gradually increasing. Autism is not a disability, it is a condition which changes from person to person. This book tells a story about a young Turkish boy, who has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, with highlighting the social, artistic and educational aspects and the story of a young autistic Norwegian on the artistic field. Besides, the book also presents the important articles of the related professionals. Autism has to be taken in multidirectional way. The main purpose is to support families and the people who have interest. It is necessary to follow carefully and put into practice the principles concerning our subject-matter directly that are among the Targets of Sustainable Development for 2030 declared by the United Nations.
